FAQs

STILL WONDERING IF THERA-MATE PRO IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

Here are answers to some of the questions you may be asking

BEFORE

deciding if Thera-Mate Pro fits your needs and everyday routine.

Who can benefit from using Thera-Mate Pro?

Thera-Mate Pro is designed for people who could use additional reach, visibility, or access during everyday hygiene and body-maintenance routines.

That may include people living with disabilities, limited range of motion, obesity, amputation, or mobility challenges, as well as people recovering from surgery or injury, pregnant people, athletes, and others who temporarily or permanently have difficulty reaching certain areas of their body.

It isn't about age. It's about access.

How can Thera-Mate Pro support foot maintenance for people living with diabetes?

For people with diabetes, being able to see and routinely check the feet matters. The CDC recommends daily foot checks and specifically suggests using a mirror when someone cannot easily see the bottoms of their feet.

Thera-Mate Pro's extended reach and mirror can help make hard-to-see areas of the feet more accessible for routine visual inspection and hygiene.

It does not diagnose, prevent, or treat diabetic foot problems, and any cut, blister, sore, redness, swelling, or other concerning change should be discussed promptly with a healthcare professional..

What comes with the Thera-Mate Pro 7-in-1 system?

Thera-Mate Pro combines multiple interchangeable functions in one extendable adaptive tool, including attachments for body cleansing sponge. lotion/creme application pad, toe care/application sponge & pad, exfoliation, and visual inspection with a mirror and soft skin brush.

The adjustable design helps users approach different hard-to-reach areas without needing a separate long-handled tool for every routine.

How do the mirror and optional (brought seperately) phone attachment help with hard-to-see areas and telehealth?

The mirror attachment can provide another way to visually inspect areas that may be difficult to see directly, including the feet and other hard-to-see parts of the body.

The optional mobile-phone attachment can help position a phone to view or show difficult-to-reach areas, including during an appropriate telehealth conversation with a healthcare professional. It doesn't diagnose a condition or replace an in-person examination when one is needed.

Can I use my HSA or FSA to purchase Thera-Mate Pro?

HSA/FSA eligibility can depend on your plan and the reason for purchase. If you plan to use HSA or FSA funds for Thera-Mate Pro, check your plan's eligibility requirements before purchasing. Additional documentation, such as a Letter of Medical Necessity, may be required in some circumstances.

What if I don't have a disability but temporarily have trouble bending or reaching ?

You don't need to define yourself as disabled to recognize that something has become difficult to reach.

Pregnancy, an athletic injury, surgery recovery, temporary restrictions, changes in flexibility or range of motion, body size, or other circumstances can affect how easily you reach your feet, back, legs, or other areas.

Thera-Mate Pro is an adaptive tool—the question isn't what label describes you. It's whether additional reach and access could make your routine easier.
